The Libraries in IMU has a collection of Physical and electronic Sources of information resources related to Maritime, Nautical, Marine Engineering, Trading, Export and Import of goods, World trade history and Logistics Sector, etc. are made accessible to the students & researchers of IMU for their academic and research use.
IMU Navi-Mumbai campus has Library Called T.S. Chanakya Library is located in the Ground floor of the scholostic building and spread accross in two floor with digital library and reading area at first floor. A library's collection includes books, periodicals, newspapers, maps, CDs, cassettes, videotapes, DVDs. The old question papers are made accessible online.
It provides physical access to library books, journals and magazines to the users of IMU NMC. The IMU Navi Mumbai Campus Library is automated with Koha Library Management Software. Library books details and availability of book status can be searched through Library webopac at http://imunavi.informaticsglobal.com/. Through library webopac users can access subscribed online resources, along with various services available for them. The library is well-equipped with Air conditioner facility which provides a comfortable reading space for students and faculty. The library has a collection of more than 14700 books, CD's and Bound volumes of Journals, we have 35 computers in the digital library for access to the resources by the users. The collection of books covers different subjects of Nautical Science, IMO Publications, Marine engineering, Ship Building and Repair, other sciences, Management Studies, Economics, Shipping and Port Management, Maritime Law, General books & fictions. The library has a collection of various technical periodicals. The library is under CCTV Surveillance.
