I welcome you to Indian Maritime University (IMU), Visakhapatnam Campus, and thank you for showing your interest in us. IMU Visakhapatnam campus located in the picturesque hilly suburbs of Visakhapatnam city offers quality maritime education and training. It is one of the six campuses of the central university headquartered in Chennai and has always been in the forefront in preparing leaders of the maritime industry through its B. Tech. and M. Tech. programmes in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering (NA & OE), M. Tech. programme in Dredging and Harbour Engineering and MBA Program in International Transportation and Logistics. IMU Visakhapatnam has been successful in offering the best education and training in the field of maritime design, engineering and management. The design of course structure and syllabus of various programmes offered are in tune with the current industry requirements through a dynamic industry-institutional interface. It is a continually evolving process, keeping the students of IMU Visakhapatnam campus abreast with the latest research and developments of the maritime sector. We have a team of committed and renowned faculty and an able administration. The campus life here is a perfect concoction of curriculum, tradition, sports, arts, culture and ethics that makes them prepared for not only facing new technological and managerial challenges but also to emerge as global leaders. Railway station to RTC Complex bus station is about 2km – by bus/auto rikshaw.

RTC Complex bus station to Sabbavaram is about 29 kms – by APSRTC bus (Bus No.: 300 C, 300 M, 555 etc).

Sabbavaram to Campus is 8 kms – By Auto rikshaw.

Taxi service (Uber, Ola etc..) is available from Visakhapatnam Railway station to IMU Campus.
