ILBS has been established by the Government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi as an Autonomous Super-speciality Institute, under the Societies Registration Act - 1860, New Delhi

University

The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences has been granted Deemed-to-be-University status by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 under de-novo category through the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

College of Nursing

To enrich the knowledge of the Nursing Fraternity, the Institution is starting with Post Graduate Courses in Nursing.

    Institute's commitment of increasing the public awareness on liver diseases and creating public access to quality screening and testing facility.

  • Project Empathy

    A comprehensive program for awareness generation is the need of the hour to spread awareness about Hepatitis B & C and to empower people who are infected so as to ensure optimum health seeking behaviors.

  • APASL-School of Hepatology

    A combination of lectures, clinical case based discussion and hands on training in various procedures, with intense interaction and time for personal discussion and personalized training.

  • Project ECHO

    Project ILBS ECHO has successfully taken its intervention of updating knowledge of healthcare professionals in liver diseases to the tier 2 and tier 3 medical institutions

  • Project Praksh

    Knowledge of screening, diagnosis and management of viral hepatitis, especially B and C is necessary for our nurses and doctors for better discharge of their duties to protect the patients and themselves from these infections.
